We are very excited to announce a new partnership with PlayHQ, a sports administration technology platform designed to simplify the experience for Sporting Codes, Associations, Clubs, Volunteers and Participants.   

Hockey NZ have recognised the need to transition to a modern and reliable system, that enables a user-friendly and personalised experience for Clubs and Associations.

The PlayHQ platform was built working hand-in-hand with Hockey NZ to ensure it met the needs of the Hockey community.  It handles competition management, registration, club administration, payments, game day management, live scoring and more. Since its launch, over 1m users have joined the platform, participating  in approximately 4,000 games every weekend, with more than 160,000 games already live-scored on the platform

The platform is designed to enrich the experience of players and participants. The Participant Portal allows for easy online payments and registration meaning participants can now manage their payments and game schedules with ease. You can also view live-scores, tables, and even your own stats!

In the past two years, PlayHQ has on-boarded multiple sports associations across the ditch with community AFL, Netball, Cricket, and Basketball among users on the platform so we are confident in their track-record and the benefits that being part of PlayHQ will bring you.

We look forward to introducing you to PlayHQ and will be launching registrations for all of our local competitions. We’ll be working collaboratively with Hockey NZ staff to roll out online training in coming weeks so please look out for this notification and register to attend.
